The Dual-Wood series consists of different hold sets, which have been specially designed for modern route setting. Due to a specially developed biodegradable surface treatment, the holds are waterproof and withstand the high stress demands of modern bouldering.  


By using two types of wood it is possible to combine the natural properties of these two materials to generate a product that will change the perspective of modern climbing holds.

The surface treatment used for our holds was produced by an Austrian company and is based on renewable raw materials! In order to improve the properties of the surface, modifications have been developed which increase the durability and functionality of the products!


In order to ensure the usability for climbing and bouldering gyms, this surface treatment was tested at the FH-Salzburg, Campus Kuchl for the following demands:

- Taber abraser test (EN 15185)
- Chemical resistance (EN 12720)
- Water and moisture absorption
- Scratch resistance (EN 15186)

The evaluations showed a waterproof and chemical-resistant effect of the surface. Results were also achieved for abrasion resistance and scratch resistance, which indicates a long service life for the holds!

We want to present you a product that meets the high demands of climbing and bouldering without standing in the way of sustainability!
